Snow Geese In Mound City, Missouri
After a peak of over 2 million snow geese at Squaw Creek NWR and around in the Mound City, Missouri nearly all of then have been pushed back south. Current estimates in NW Missouri are around 50,000 - 100,000 snow geese. Most of them are adults birds and don't decoy well at all. Most of the snow geese being shot are at longer ranges flying to the decoy spread.
However if you find a feed field and put a decoy spread out birds can be harvested but it is by no way a guarantee.
